I'm looking forward to this one Jay! I hope you touch on the issue of using God's word for discipline rather than punishment.

My daughter, Hannah, is 21 months old. We recently bought "The BIG Picture Story Bible" by David Helm and Gail Schoonmaker. She has dozens of books, but always goes back to this one. We make our Bible story time consistent at night before she goes to bed. At first, we didn't let her look at it other than this time, because we wanted to show her how important it was from other books. She rips up a lot of her other "flip-up" books, so we watch her carefully with her Bible. She will run to her bedroom throughout the day, saying "Bible? Bible?", and will carry it up into the chair to look through it. She's always mesmerized it seems by the images. I believe it brings joy to her heart, as we know it does to ours.
