Jay,

Excellent words of encouragement and help! Thank you so much for your ministry to me and for your friendship. God is growing me through your teaching.

Jay,

Thank you for a helpful series. We understand that lying is sin and like all sin, destroys relationships, lives and the purity of God's creation. Could you comment on lying being an outgrowth of "being deceived" by sin? For instance: Heb. 3:13 "The deceitfulness of sin." and Eph. 4:22 "deceitful lusts." and Rom. 7:11 "sin...deceived me" and Is. 44:20 "A deceived heart has turned him aside."

How do we understand the "lies of sin," and how do we help our children see they have been lied to?

Berta Myers

This is a great series. The tie in between our own lies and then the ones we subtly encourage our children to practice hits home with me. I would love to hear more about practical ways to make the gospel the central issue with non believing teenagers. Also with teenagers who think they are believing, but wavering.
These blogs are really helpful!!!
